Cafe Nell Announces New '4 TO SIX FIX'

NW Neighborhood Eatery Offers $14 Prix-Fixe Menu for Early Dinner Crowd

Portland, OR (March 1, 2010) – Portland’s chic hot spot Cafe Nell is now offering a value-driven prix-fixe menu option – the ‘4 TO SIX FIX’. Beginning Tuesday, March 2, 2010 guests can indulge in a 3-course dinner in the restaurant’s cozy dining room for only $14. Featuring full-size courses, not tapas-style small plates, the ‘4 TO SIX FIX’ is available from 4p.m. to 6p.m. as a value oriented early dinner option.

“The ‘4 TO SIX FIX’ is an affordable and delicious after-work option for customers looking for something more substantial than typical happy hour fare,” says Van Creely, Cafe Nell’s co-owner and manager. “We wanted to create a menu that offers a tremendous value to our customers and the neighborhood, while still staying true to our American Brasserie style.”

The new ‘4 TO SIX FIX’ menu, created by Cafe Nell’s Executive Chef Andrew Garrett, offers diners a 3-course menu, including soup or salad, one of three entreé choices and a dessert. Sample entrée options include tagliatelle pasta with house made lamb meatballs and red sauce, whole pan-fried tilapia with french fries and coleslaw and a classic coq au vin.

Cafe Nell’s ‘4 TO SIX FIX’ is available from 4p.m. – 6p.m. in the dining room only, with no minimum drink purchase required. The menu is not available for take-out.

Cafe Nell is located in Northwest Portland on the corner of NW 20th and Kearney, Portland, OR with free parking available in the restaurant’s own lot. For more information please call (503) 295-6487, or visit www.cafenell.com.
