Lisa Donoughe - Watershed Communications

Lisa Donoughe, Principal

As founder and president of LAD communications, Ms. Donoughe brings 21 years of public relations and marketing experience to her clients. Prior to starting her own agency, Ms. Donoughe held various agency and corporate positions in New York City. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Kratz & Company where she ran the food and beverage group. As employee number six, she helped grow Kratz into a company of 200 employees with offices in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

After 12 years of working in international marketing communications in New York City, Donoughe decided to move to Oregon for a better quality of life. Donoughe now splits her time between New York and Portland, Oregon, connecting clients with the best of both worlds.

Lisa specializes in helping entrepreneurs shape and tell their stories. In her diverse international career, she has developed campaigns to launch brands, grow businesses and organizations, and promote leaders in a way that drives growth and brand longevity. With all of her media relations campaigns, the goal is to develop strategic, creative original campaigns that deliver maximum return on investment.

Donoughe believes that the key to a successful PR campaign is to make it a valid process. "I provide a service to journalists, giving story ideas based in editorial reality, not self-promotion."

For national chains and public companies such as Boston Market and Il Fornaio, Lisa has conceived of and executed cause-related and media relations programs. She has a strong consumer technology background, representing Citysearch.com in New York City and doing on-line marketing for StoliCentral.com.

In addition to her agency experience, she has held the corporate position of Manager of Public Relations for Pernod Ricard, Europe's largest wine and spirits company.
