JOIN FOOD & WINE “PEOPLE’S BEST NEW CHEF” NOMINEE CHRIS DIMINNO & THE CLYDE COMMON CREW FOR AN 80's THROW BACK DINNER PARTY, THE FIRST OF MANY

“It was too fancy.” – Gordon Ramsay

PORTLAND, Ore. (February 16, 2011)

WHAT

Le Bernardin, Le Cirque, Lutèce, and Montrachet were the country’s culinary hot spots. Chefs like Gilbert Le Coze and Alfred Portale were just beginning to emerge from their kitchens to become the first “celebrity” chefs. United by French culinary traditions and inspired by modern ingredients, these men pioneered a new understanding of American cuisine. Please join Clyde Common for a tribute to the finest food from an era of innovation.

The upcoming February 27, 2011 dinner will be the first installment of Clyde's new dinner party series. Every last Sunday night of the month, the restaurant will throw a themed dinner party paired with wine, beer or spirits.
